Dr. Anna Xygkou-Tsiamoulou is a Titans Space Astronaut Candidate and Director of Space Environmental and Behavioral Systems at Titans Space Industries, specializing in Human Factors and Human Behavior and Performance by implementing immersive technologies and conversational AI for astronauts' mental health and cognitive training. She holds a PhD in Computing from the University of Kent, UK, where her research pioneered the use of Virtual Reality and conversational AI to support companionship and social connectedness for groups vulnerable to isolation. Jiya is an aerospace engineering student at Queen Mary University of London. She is also an Astronaut Candidate with Titans Space Industries, with a strong interest in human spaceflight, spacecraft systems, and the future of the space economy.
As Chief of Staff for the SEF, Jiya is responsible for the committee’s internal operations and cross-team coordination, ensuring that all workstreams remain aligned, accountable, and on schedule. Her work involves establishing the leadership cadence, managing decision and action registers, integrating work across teams, and maintaining the milestone plan that guides the forum’s development. Her role focuses on creating one clear set of priorities, preventing duplication, and supporting effective collaboration across the entire SEF team.
Her academic and technical background spans spacecraft dynamics, aerodynamics, control systems, finite element analysis, and scientific computing. Jiya is particularly interested in applying engineering principles to real-world challenges in space exploration and sustainability.

Carl Petmecky
Chief Strategy Officer
Carl Petmecky serves as Chief Strategy Officer for the Space Economic Forum, where he leads strategic architecture, program development, institutional alignment, and partner engagement for SEF 2026. With more than 15 years of experience across military aviation, advanced aerospace operations, semiconductor fabrication equipment, and noise and vibration technologies, Carl brings a rare combination of technical depth, operational discipline, and strategic thinking to the development of the next space economy.
A former U.S. Air Force F-15 maintainer, combat veteran, and international F-15 instructor, Carl has worked across the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia alongside military, aerospace, and industrial organizations where precision, readiness, and mission execution are non-negotiable. His career has since expanded into frontier technology, infrastructure strategy, and space-sector convening, with a focus on translating ambitious vision into executable frameworks.
Carl is also completing a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics through Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, with concentrations in space studies, engineering sciences, environmental science, meteorology, and industrial and organizational psychology. His work reflects a long-standing commitment to aerospace advancement, environmental stewardship, and the disciplined construction of architectures capable of supporting humanity’s expansion beyond Earth.
At SEF, Carl is responsible for shaping the Forum’s strategic program, track architecture, stakeholder pathways, and outcome logic, helping position the event as a serious global platform for commercial space development, cislunar infrastructure, investment strategy, governance alignment, and industrial growth beyond Earth. His work bridges the technical, economic, institutional, and human dimensions of the space economy, with a central emphasis on building structures that can move ideas from concept to coordination, and from coordination to implementation.

He is also the Founder of Cassiopeia Team Egypt, a leading initiative focused on astronomy, asteroid tracking, and advancing space science awareness across the region.
Within the Space Communications Development Track, he contributes to designing and reimagining next-generation communication systems that will power the future of human and robotic missions across Earth orbit, cislunar space, and deep space. His work focuses on building resilient, adaptive, and intelligent communication architectures capable of supporting the demands of long-duration exploration.
Mohamed’s vision lies at the intersection of communication engineering, mission operations, and human spaceflight. He is driven by the challenge of enabling seamless connectivity beyond Earth—transforming communication from a limitation into a backbone for interplanetary exploration.

Astronaut Candidate, Titans Space Industries | Track 2 Lead, Space Economic Forum
Koustubh Kari works at the vanguard of materials engineering and cislunar resource logistics. As an Astronaut Candidate with Titans Space Industries, his focus is on the practical deployment of systems that turn harsh, off-world environments into sustainable, operational habitats.
At the Space Economic Forum (SEF) 2026, Koustubh serves as the Track Lead for Track 2: Resource Sovereignty Beyond Earth. Moving away from traditional theoretical workshops, he acts as a Market Architect, driving the pre-Forum working groups that are actively drafting the Solar System Planetary Standards (SSPS) for planetary power grids, volatile extraction, and surface-to-orbit refueling infrastructures. His work bridges the gap between raw planetary assets and bankable, insurable cislunar commodities.
In addition to his structural policy work for Layer 1, Koustubh contributes to the Junior Exploration Zone (JEZ) at SEF. Working directly under the JEZ Lead, he supervises designated zones designed to mentor and integrate emerging deep-tech talent. In this supervisory role, he helps ensure that the next generation of aerospace engineers, roboticists, and space lawyers are practically aligned with the emerging SSPS frameworks.
Koustubh’s ultimate objective is to replace high-risk, Earth-dependent architectures with a resilient, automated supply chain capable of sustaining a continuous human presence across the cislunar domain and beyond.

Fauziyya Muhammad Auwal

Fauziyya Muhammad Auwal is a Nigerian astrophysicist, space advocate, and emerging leader in the global space ecosystem. She is a Graduate Assistant in the Department of Physics at Kaduna State University, Nigeria, where she contributes to teaching, research, and the advancement of physics education.
She is the Founder and CEO of ASTHERA, a space-tech and astronomy initiative dedicated to advancing astronomy education, STEM outreach, and the application of space technologies to address challenges across Africa. Through her work, she inspires young people, particularly girls and young women, to pursue careers in science, technology, and space-related fields.
Fauziyya is an Astronaut Candidate with Titans Space Industries and serves as the PMO Admin Lead for the Space Economic Forum (SEF) 2026 in Helsinki, Finland. Her work spans astrophysics research, space exploration, space policy and leadership, and international collaborations aimed at strengthening Africa’s role in the global space sector.

Alternate Lead, Agenda & Proceedings - Space Economic Forum, Astronaut Candidate – Titans Space Industries
Olivia Joshua J is a Mechanical Engineering student and an Astronaut Candidate in the ASCAN program at Titans Space Industries. With a strong foundation in mechanical systems, materials, and design thinking, she is passionate about applying engineering principles to real-world challenges while contributing to the future of space exploration. Her academic journey and technical exposure reflect a growing interest in interdisciplinary innovation within STEM and human spaceflight.
At the Space Economic Forum, Olivia serves as Alternate Lead for Agenda & Proceedings, where she plays a key role in structuring session briefs, organizing technical content, and developing clear, comprehensive proceedings outputs. Her work ensures that discussions are effectively documented, technically accurate, and aligned with the forum’s broader vision of advancing the global space economy.
Beyond industry, I have actively developed leadership and communication skills through roles such as Campus Ambassador at MyGov India and International MUN. These roles have strengthened my abilities in team engagement, operational management, decision-making, and multi-role coordination — competencies that mirror the collaborative and high-pressure environment of Space. Olivia also serves as Director of International Relations at SHEORBITS, where she leads global outreach efforts, builds international collaborations, and supports initiatives that empower women in the space sector.
She has contributed to research on sustainable composite materials by developing alternatives using recycled polyamide layers from water filtration systems, reflecting her interest in sustainable engineering solutions. With hands-on experience in design, quality control, and mechanical systems through industry exposure, she continues to build a strong technical and leadership profile at the intersection of engineering and space.
Technically, I am proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, ANSYS, and CATIA, with foundational programming knowledge in Python. My skill set spans design validation, simulation, mechanical modeling, and analytical thinking. Complementing this are strong soft skills including time management, critical thinking, effective communication, public speaking, adaptability, teamwork, neural brain training, and strategic decision-making — all essential attributes in high-performance environments.
As an Engineer of Titan Engineering’s hBAJA team, Olivia led the design, analysis, and structural validation of the vehicle’s primary safety framework. Her role involved optimizing structural integrity, material selection, and impact resistance while ensuring compliance with competition standards. This experience strengthened her understanding of load distribution, safety-critical design, and durability—principles that closely translate to space systems engineering, particularly in the design of crew modules, protective structures, and mission-critical hardware operating in extreme environments.
For me, success means contributing meaningfully to a mission, learning through every challenge, and walking away more capable—technically, mentally, and humanly—than I was before.
